Developing Career Teacher events 2024-25

This series of events are aimed as post-ECT support for those developing their career and moving into more responsibility.  The events can be taken as stand alone sessions or as a programme that builds across the year.   

If you are a Family of Schools Member and you sign-up to all Events there is a discount, and a further discount is applied if 2 All Events tickets are selected.

The events will provide those moving forward in their teaching career with  with knowledge, experience and training in key areas of professional development. These will include:

Event 1 - Wednesday 5th February 2025 | 1.30pm – 4:00pm

Confident subject leadership

This is an opportunity to learn how to drive the vision for your subject and then develop and monitor your curriculum.

Knowing more & remembering more

The science of memory, learning and retrieval.

Event 3 - Wednesday 21st May 2025 | 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Seeing the bigger picture

How do your targets link to school improvement; benefitting from your appraisal to develop your career.

Event 4 - Wednesday 18th June 2025 | 1.30pm – 4:00pm

Contributing to Christian ethos

Understanding your role in supporting children to flourish; developing confidence in a church school community. 

There is also an opportunity for 1:1 personal Coaching sessions to deepen understanding on the event topics.
