RE in a Church School for Governors

As governors, navigating the responsibility of Religious Education in the school can be tricky, who is responsible for what? And what about multi academy trusts? This session is intended to give clarity to the roles and responsibilities for the provision of RE, to ensure your school upholds the legal requirements, along with the Statement of Entitlement and provide an outline of diocesan guidance. We will also consider how, as link governors we can offer appropriate support and challenge to those with responsibility for leading in this aspect in the school as we monitor the impact of RE on flourishing.
