Admissions and Appeals for VA Schools and Academies for Governors & Headteachers

This course is for governors and headteachers in voluntary aided schools and academies that are their own admission authority. In the session we will look at the admissions and appeals codes and their statutory requirements. Updated guidance will also be given based on recent school adjudicator rulings. From this session schools will be able to consider their own admissions policy and update it accordingly. Guidance will also be given on the preparation of evidence for appeals.
